The 1-X400 series linear stroke piston-type pneumatic actuators are crafted with precision using cold-drawn hydraulic pipes as cylinder bodies. These pipes undergo meticulous honing and extrusion processes, significantly minimizing wear on dynamic sealing elements and thereby markedly boosting the actuator's longevity. Compared to conventional membrane-type linear stroke actuators of equivalent specifications, these actuators deliver superior thrust. Featuring a straightforward structure, lightweight composition, and compact dimensions, these actuators exemplify top-tier performance in pneumatic linear stroke technology.
Available in both double-acting and single-acting models, the 1-X400 series linear stroke piston-type pneumatic actuators seamlessly integrate with linear stroke valves for efficient regulation or on-off control. With the incorporation of additional components such as pneumatic control valves, quick exhaust valves, and other pneumatic actuators, these devices facilitate rapid cutoffs with remarkable precision. Cutoff durations are available at distinctive intervals of 1S, 2S, 3S, and 4S, catering to diverse operational requirements.
DESIGN DETAILS
PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE RATING
The remarkable High-Speed Pneumatic Piston Actuator is engineered to endure an impressive 8 bar pressure, which serves as both the rated supply pressure for the cylinder and the threshold for the tightness of the sliding seals of the piston. Foremost, all our actuators are meticulously hydrostatically tested at an elevated 10.5 bar before being dispatched to ensure unmatched reliability. The temperature parameters for continuous operation at this 8 bar level are comprehensively detailed in our meticulously crafted table of materials.
ACTUATOR BODY
The cylinder is expertly crafted from a precision steel tube, ensuring robustness and durability.
Its interior surface is exquisitely lapped, chromium-plated, and polished for optimal performance.
The actuator features two meticulously cast heads of either aluminum or steel, available in diverse shapes to seamlessly meet assembly requirements for various valves or operations.
It includes options for a fork on the upper or lower head, tailored for pivoting assemblies, ideal for actuating butterfly valves.
A flange option is available for robust assembling on valve yokes, perfectly suited for actuating globe or angle valves with precision.
PISTON
Crafted from high-strength steel, the piston is engineered with precision, fitted with one (S.A.) or two (D.A.) rubber sealing rings alongside two (S.A.) or one (D.A.) loaded-teflon guiding skids, ensuring seamless operation.
STEM
The stem, a marvel of engineering, is precisely machined from stainless steel, ground, rolled, and threaded at the exposed end. The actuator stem seamlessly integrates with the valve stem through a two-piece, bored, and threaded block, securely clamping the screwed ends of both stems.
The stem's flawless motion is assured by a double bronze bushing, strategically fitted in the lower head, which also houses a felt ring for wiping the stem and accompanied by a sealing ring (exempting S.A. direct-acting actuators) to effectively prevent any leakage.
