The SNT The SNT drain valve redefines conventional internal design concepts with its innovative approach. It features a streamlined flow channel between the valve core and cylindrical valve seat, accelerating fluid flow effortlessly. As fluid reaches the downstream valve seat, the chamber dramatically enlarges, causing a pressure drop that propels rapid fluid expansion towards the flow center. This leads to swift energy dissipation and evaporation, inducing a turbulent condition. This process guarantees efficient discharge, allowing fluid to vaporize when supersaturated and simultaneously cool any remaining liquid, exemplifying the sophisticated use of flash evaporation in liquid flow.
To cater to diverse device requirements, we offer valves across a pressure spectrum from ANSI 150 to ANSI 2500. The standard stop valve sizes range from 3/4"(DN20), 1"(DN25), 1-1/2"(DN40), 2"(DN50), 2-1/2"(DN65), to 3"(DN80). SNT valves are generally crafted with an angular connection to ensure a seamless fluid flow. Our through way type stop valves are also at your disposal. Depending on the desired control, options span manual, pneumatic, and electric configurations. For precise throttling control, SNT employs computational Fluid Dynamics using the Fluent-Code to meticulously simulate and analyze flow channels and pressure drops within its unique internal design. Every internal component of SNT valves is typically fortified with high-grade Co-Ni based alloys or treated with Cr-N ceramic coatings, safeguarding against abrasion and corrosion from high-pressure scenarios and rapid flow rates. Additionally, there are continuous drain valves, traps, safety valves, and more, enhancing the system's functionality.
In line with §122.1.4 of ASME B31.1 Power Boilers and Piping, the piping architecture typically incorporates two valves in series: a Y-type intermittent drain valve coupled with an emergency stop valve, ensuring optimal control.
The intermittent drain valve is adeptly designed with a lever-type rapid discharge mechanism, facilitating swift opening and closure. When activated, the valve expedites the expulsion of sediment, dirt, and other particles from the boiler's base efficiently-completed within 3 seconds. Prolonged discharge could lead to excessive boiler water loss, causing resource wastage. The flow path resembles a straight pipeline.
The emergency stop valve ensures a stringent pipeline cut-off, preventing resource wastage in the event of an intermittent drain valve malfunction.
