Figure 1a showcases a cutting-edge mechanism designed to expertly control the pressure of the post-control valve through a pressure-closed mode. The mechanism operates on a sophisticated principle: the medium seamlessly enters the valve body in line with the direction of the arrow, subsequently passing through the valve seat and spool to undergo precision throttling. Simultaneously, a secondary pathway via the pressure tube (complete with steam and condenser) directs the medium into the actuator, where it exerts force on the diaphragm. This interaction prompts a strategic displacement of the spool, effectively reducing and stabilizing pressure. In scenarios where post-valve pressure escalates, an increased diaphragm force compresses the spring, thereby driving the spool to narrow the valve opening until equilibrium is restored at the pre-set pressure level. Figure 1b illustrates a regulator ingeniously designed to manage the pressure preceding the valve through a pressure-open mode. The operation follows an intricate principle: the medium flows seamlessly into the valve body as indicated by the arrow, proceeding through the valve seat and spool for precise throttling. Concurrently, a pathway via the pressure tube (accompanied by steam and condenser) channels the medium into the actuator, acting upon the diaphragm to instigate a strategic spool displacement, ensuring pressure relief and stability. When pressure before the valve escalates, the diaphragm's increased force compresses the spring, prompting the spool to widen the valve opening until the pressure subsides to the set value. Conversely, a decrease in pre-valve pressure reduces diaphragm force, allowing the spring's reaction to narrow the valve opening, thus elevating pressure to the desired level. Should pre-valve pressure fall below the set threshold, the valve remains securely closed, maintaining optimal control.
