With their straightforward architecture, lightweight build, and compact form, they epitomize high-performance in pneumatic linear stroke technology.
The versatile 1-X400 series piston-type pneumatic actuators are available in both double-acting and single-acting configurations. Designed to excel in both regulation and on-off control when paired with linear stroke valves, they are equipped with advanced accessories including pneumatic control valves, quick exhaust valves, and actuators. This synergy allows for rapid cutoffs, with impressive cutoff times available at levels of 1S, 2S, 3S and 4S, showcasing their precision and adaptability.
DESIGN DETAILS
PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE RATING
Our Advanced Pneumatic Piston Actuator showcases unmatched reliability and performance. It operates at a rated supply pressure of 8 bar, which also marks the limit for the tightness of sliding seals of the piston. To ensure robustness, each actuator undergoes rigorous hydrostatic testing at 10.5 bar before delivery. ACTUATOR BODY
The cylinder is crafted from an expertly machined precision steel tube.
Its inside surface is meticulously lapped, then enriched with chromium plating and polished to perfection.
The actuator's two heads are constructed from either aluminum or steel castings, offering distinguished quality. These heads are available in various shapes to suit different valve assembly requirements or operational needs.
For assemblies utilizing a fork on the upper or lower head, these heads can enable pivoting assemblies, for example, when actuating butterfly valves.
Alternatively, options with a flange provide robust assembly on valve yokes, ensuring a secure fit for various valve types. This configuration is ideal for actuating globe or angle valves, delivering reliability and efficiency.
PISTON
The piston is a masterpiece of high-strength steel engineering, featuring one (S.A.) or two (D.A.) resilient rubber sealing rings and two (S.A.) or one (D.A.) loaded-teflon guiding skid, ensuring seamless operation.
STEM
Crafted from durable stainless steel, the stem is expertly machined, ground, rolled, and threaded at the exterior end. It connects effortlessly to the valve stem via a sophisticated two-piece, bored and threaded block that clamps securely to the threaded ends of both stems.
Guided by a double bronze bushing fitted into the lower head, the stem is meticulously maintained by a felt ring to clean the stem, providing durability and wear resistance. Additionally, a sealing ring (except for S.A. direct-acting actuators) is included to effectively prevent leakage, ensuring optimal performance and integrity.
