Moreover, the AOC-3000 features three types of actuators: the diaphragm, available in both standard and reinforced versions, the piston actuator, and the robust metal diaphragm (bellows). Figure 1a elegantly illustrates the sophisticated mechanism used to expertly control the post-control valve pressure regulator, designed with precision as a pressure-closed type. Delving into the principle of action: the medium gracefully flows into the valve body, guided by the arrow, and is meticulously output by the valve seat and spool after a crucial throttling. Additionally, via an alternative path through the pressure tube (especially when the medium is steam coupled with a condenser), it is introduced into the actuator to perform upon the diaphragm. This causes the spool to undergo a corresponding displacement, thereby achieving the dual objectives of pressure reduction and stabilization. In instances where the pressure post-valve surges, the diaphragm experiences increased force, compressing the spring and dynamically driving the spool, thereby reducing the valve's opening until the desired set pressure is reestablished. The principle of action unfolds as follows: the medium flows into the valve body, driven by the directional arrow, and exits post-throttle via the valve seat and spool.
