Compared to their membrane-type linear stroke counterparts of similar specifications, these actuators deliver substantially greater thrust. Available in both double-acting and single-acting configurations, the versatile 1-X400 series linear stroke piston-type pneumatic actuators can seamlessly integrate with linear stroke valves. They are perfect for both regulation and on-off control tasks. When paired with essential accessories like pneumatic control valves, quick exhaust valves, and pneumatic actuators, they ensure rapid cutoffs, boasting impressive cutoff times of 1S, 2S, 3S and 4S, catering to various operational needs with utmost precision.
DESIGN DETAILS
PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE RATING
With an impressive operational capacity of 8 bar, this ensures optimal supply pressure for the cylinder while maintaining the integrity of sliding seals on the piston. Our actuators undergo rigorous hydrostatic testing at 10.5 bar prior to delivery, guaranteeing superior performance. Continuous service within the 8 bar range adheres to temperature limits specified in the materials table, ensuring reliability.
ACTUATOR BODY
The cylinder exhibits exceptional craftsmanship, being fashioned from a high-precision steel tube.
The interior surface is meticulously lapped, chromium-plated, and polished to perfection.
The actuator heads, available in aluminum or steel cast, are engineered in various configurations to seamlessly adapt to valve assembly requirements or
to incorporate a fork for versatile upper or lower head pivoting assemblies, ideal for butterfly valve actuation.
The design includes a flange, enabling a robust assembly on valve yokes, perfectly suited for actuating globe or angle valves with precision.
PISTON
Crafted from high-strength steel, the piston is equipped with one (S.A.) or two (D.A.) durable rubber sealing rings, alongside two (S.A.) or one (D.A.) loaded Teflon guiding skid, ensuring smooth operation.
STEM
The actuator stem, skillfully machined from stainless steel, is ground, rolled, and threaded for external cylinder application. It connects seamlessly with the valve stem using a two-piece, bored and threaded block that clamps both ends securely.
A double bronze bushing within the lower head guides the stem while hosting a felt ring to clean it, paired with a sealing ring, excluding S.A. direct-acting actuators, to avert leakage.
