Additionally, the AOC-3000 is equipped with three actuator styles to suit various process needs: the standard and reinforced diaphragm, piston, and the robust metal diaphragm (bellows). Here's how it works: The medium gracefully courses into the valve body, obediently following the direction of the arrow. Once inside, it is deftly throttled by the valve seat and spool, ensuring optimal output. Meanwhile, a parallel path channels the medium through the pressure tube-specifically with steam, this includes a condenser-guiding it into the actuator to act upon the diaphragm. This prompts a precise displacement of the spool, achieving the dual objectives of reducing and stabilizing pressure. Should the downstream pressure rise, the diaphragm force intensifies, compressing the spring, which subsequently drives the spool to constrict the valve opening, thereby restoring the pressure to its desired set value. Figure 1b: This innovative regulator is designed to deftly control the pressure preceding the valve, utilizing a pressure-open action mode. The process unfolds as follows: The medium confidently enters the valve body, guided by the arrow's path. Once inside, it is skillfully throttled by both the valve seat and spool. Simultaneously, a second path directs the medium through the pressure tube-complete with a condenser when dealing with steam-focusing it towards the actuator to engage with the diaphragm. This interaction induces a strategic displacement of the spool, securing both pressure relief and stabilization. Should the upstream pressure intensify, the diaphragm's force escalates, compressing the spring and prompting the spool to widen the valve opening, until the pressure recedes to the designated level. Similarly, if the pressure wanes, the diaphragm's influence reduces, and the spring's force guides the spool to narrow the valve opening, ensuring pressure is elevated back to the target level. If the upstream pressure falls beneath the set threshold, the valve remains sealed, safeguarding the system integrity.
