Its compact design outshines traditional heavy hammer pressure reducing valves, making it easy to adapt and install across a variety of industries. Widely utilized in petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy, food production, light textile, machinery manufacturing, and civil construction, the AOC-3000 excels in managing gas, liquid, and steam for pressure reduction, stabilization (both post- and pre-valve), and relief applications. Actuator Features
Figure 1a illustrates the masterful control of the post-control valve pressure regulator, boasting a pressure-closed operation mode. Here's the fascinating principle at work: As the medium enters the valve body, following the directional arrow, it elegantly passes through the valve seat and spool, experiencing a precise throttling process. Meanwhile, an alternate route via the pressure tube allows the medium (when steam is accompanied by a condenser) to engage the actuator and influence the diaphragm. This interaction prompts the spool to adjust its position, ensuring perfect pressure reduction and stabilization. In the event of an increase in pressure post-valve, the diaphragm senses this change, compresses the spring, and guides the spool to diminish the valve's opening until equilibrium is restored at the pre-set pressure level. Conversely, should the pressure drop, the diaphragm's reduced force allows the spring's reaction to expand the valve's opening, maintaining the desired pressure level.
Figure 1b showcases the regulator's prowess in managing pre-valve pressure, adopting a pressure-open operation mode. The medium, entering from the designated arrow direction, gracefully traverses through the valve seat and spool, undergoing calculated throttling. Simultaneously, it channels through the pressure tube (aligned with steam and condenser use) to activate the actuator, impacting the diaphragm and causing the spool to adjust, achieving a state of pressure relief and stabilization. As pre-valve pressure escalates, the diaphragm's heightened force compresses the spring, prompting the spool to widen the valve's opening until the pressure is harmonized to the set parameter. Should the pressure recede, the diaphragm's diminished force enables spring tension to coax the spool into reducing the valve opening, steadily reinstating the desired pressure. Mounting Method
For optimal performance when regulating gas or low-viscosity liquid media, the AOC-3111 self-operated pressure regulating valve should ideally be mounted upright on a horizontal pipeline. Should spatial constraints arise, alternative positions like upside down or diagonal installations are permissible. Notably, in situations where the medium is verified as clean, the installation of part 3 becomes optional.
In applications involving steam or high-viscosity liquid media, the AOC-3111 type self-operated pressure regulating valve is best positioned upside down on a horizontal pipeline. This setup ensures efficient functionality and consistent performance in handling challenging mediums.
