Figure 1a unveils a cutting-edge mechanism designed to control the post-control valve pressure with precision and efficiency. This pressure-closed type actuator showcases a sophisticated operation: as the medium gracefully enters the valve body, guided by the directional arrow, it is skillfully released through the valve seat and spool after undergoing meticulous throttling. Meanwhile, another pathway channels through the pressure tube (with steam plus a condenser), introducing it to the actuator to act upon the diaphragm. This interaction triggers a harmonious displacement of the spool, achieving both a reduction and stabilization of pressure. When the valve's pressure escalates, the diaphragm senses the increase, compressing the spring and seamlessly driving the spool to reduce the opening, maintaining the pressure at the desired set value. Figure 1b illustrates an advanced regulator engineered to master the pressure dynamics ahead of the valve with a pressure-open type action. The medium flows into the valve body, aligning with the directional arrow, before being expertly dispensed by the valve seat and spool post-throttling. Simultaneously, the pressure tube (combined with steam plus a condenser) channels into the actuator, engaging the diaphragm to prompt a precise spool displacement. This orchestrates effective pressure relief and stabilization. When the pressure before the valve intensifies, the diaphragm reacts by compressing the spring and driving the spool, expanding the valve opening until the pressure aligns with the preset level. Conversely, a pressure drop reduces the force on the diaphragm, allowing the spring's response to adjust the spool, narrowing the valve opening until the pressure regains the designated value. Should the pressure fall below the set threshold, the valve remains closed, ensuring optimal control.
