Working Principle

At the heart of the four-link butterfly valve's operation is a sophisticated assembly comprising a drive device, valve plate, valve body, valve shaft, linkage system, and shaft end seals. The drive device propels the motion of the valve shaft and the intricately designed four-link mechanism, orchestrating the opening and closing of the valve. As the valve shaft rotates, it opens the valve plate, achieving full openness when the valve plate aligns parallel to the pipeline center. Conversely, reversing the valve shaft's rotation results in the closure of the valve plate. A secure and complete seal is accomplished when the valve plate meets and compresses the sealing surface of the valve body, thus ensuring the valve is fully closed.
