For media susceptible to crystallization, such as sulfur, a specialized jacketed structure is available to avert potential pipeline blockage due to cooling and condensation during flow.

Typically equipped with a cylinder-type single-acting actuator, the AOC-4000 series four-link eccentric butterfly valve offers versatility with the option of cylinder-type double-acting actuators, as well as sophisticated electric and hydraulic actuators to meet diverse requirements. Remarkably, the minimum shut-off time is impressively swift, ranging from just 2 to 6 seconds, ensuring rapid response and enhanced operational efficiency.

Working Principle

The four-link butterfly valve is a marvel of engineering, comprising a drive device, valve plate, valve body, valve shaft, linkage system, and shaft end seals. Its operation is elegantly simple yet highly effective: the drive device initiates movement, propelling the valve shaft and the intricate four-link mechanism into action. As the valve shaft rotates, the valve plate opens, aligning parallel to the pipeline center when fully open. To close, the valve shaft rotates in the opposite direction, bringing the valve plate into contact with and compressing the sealing surface of the valve body, achieving a complete and secure closure.

For media with an O2 content exceeding 23.5%, only external sandblasting is necessary, eliminating the need for internal treatment.

Painting after Surface Treatment

We apply two coats of paint, each 35 micrometers thick, to ensure excellent corrosion protection.
