The SNT Our breakthrough drain valve redefines traditional internal structure design principles. With its innovative smooth-flow channel between the valve core and cylindrical valve seat, fluid acceleration is enhanced until it reaches downstream, where a sudden chamber expansion occurs. This pivotal design causes a pressure drop at the center of the flow channel, prompting rapid fluid expansion toward the center. The result? Quick energy dispersion and fluid evaporation, leading to turbulent conditions. This efficient discharge process enables fluid to form steam upon supersaturation while simultaneously cooling residual liquid, showcasing a masterful application of flash evaporation in liquid flow.
To accommodate diverse device requirements, we manufacture valves within the ANSI 150 to ANSI 2500 pressure range. Starting from a standard stop valve size of 3/4" (DN20), 1" (DN25), 1.1/2" (DN40), 2" (DN50), 2-1/2" (DN65), and 3" (DN80). The standard SNT valve features an angular connection, promoting uniform fluid flow. Additionally, through-way type stop valves are offered. Depending on your control needs, options include manual, pneumatic, and electric control systems. For precision in throttling control, we apply advanced computational fluid dynamics, utilizing Fluent-Code to simulate and analyze the internal-design flow channel and pressure drops. To combat abrasion and corrosion from high-pressure drops and flow rates, all SNT internals are fortified with high-quality Co-Ni based alloys or treated with Cr-N ceramic coatings.

Application of Typical Working Conditions
As depicted in the figure on the left, the installation follows the ASME B31.1 Power Boilers and Piping guidelines, wherein intermittent drain valves are predominantly utilized in Zone 2, directly integrated into the boiler or associated boiler piping. Additionally, the system comprises continuous drain valves, traps, safety valves, and more for comprehensive functionality.
In compliance with §122.1.4 of ASME B31.1, the piping is generally equipped with a dual-valve arrangement, featuring a Y-type intermittent drain valve, complemented by an emergency stop valve for enhanced safety.
The intermittent drain valve is often designed with a lever-type rapid discharge mechanism, enabling swift opening and closing actions. When activated, the valve efficiently expels sediment, dirt, and particles from the boiler's base in under 3 seconds, optimizing resource usage by minimizing water discharge. Its flow channel closely resembles a straight pipeline for optimal efficiency.
The emergency stop valve ensures a rigorous cut-off of the pipeline, serving as a preventive measure against resource wastage should the initial intermittent drain valve encounter malfunction.
