For seamless integration and optimal performance of the AOC-3111 type self-operated pressure regulating valve in gas or low viscosity liquid media, it is traditionally mounted upright along a horizontal pipeline. However, in scenarios where space is limited, it can be positioned upside down or at an angle. Notably, if the medium is verified to be clean, the installation of part 3 may be deemed unnecessary, enhancing convenience and efficiency.

 

In steam or high viscosity liquid media applications, the AOC-3111 type self-operated pressure regulating valve is customarily mounted in an inverted position on a horizontal pipeline. This orientation ensures reliable functionality and maximized efficacy, even under challenging conditions.

Actuator Features

 

Figure 1a articulates the sophisticated operation of our pressure-closed valve regulator, crafted to meticulously control the valve pressure post-regulation. Here's how it works: the medium gracefully enters the valve body as directed by the arrow and elegantly exits through the valve seat and spool post-throttling. Meanwhile, the medium, when accompanied by steam and condenser, channels through the pressure tube to the actuator, compelling the diaphragm into action. This dynamic process causes the spool to gracefully adjust its position, achieving the dual goals of pressure reduction and stabilization. In scenarios where the post-valve pressure heightens, the diaphragm's load intensifies, compressing the spring and maneuvering the spool to constrict the valve opening, until equilibrium is reinstated. Conversely, when the pressure behind the valve wanes, the diaphragm's force diminishes, and the inherent spring reaction elegantly encourages the spool to widen the valve opening, reinstating pressure to the predetermined setting.

 

Figure 1b unveils the intricacies of our pressure-open type regulator, engineered to masterfully manage the valve's pre-pressure. The medium enters the valve's core, as shown by the arrow, and exits seamlessly after throttling. Simultaneously, when paired with steam and a condenser, it traverses the pressure tube into the actuator, prompting the diaphragm to shift the spool, achieving optimal pressure relief and stabilization. Should the pre-valve pressure surge, the diaphragm's force amplifies, compressing the spring, which then compels the spool to expand the valve opening until the pressure harmoniously decreases to the desired level. On the flip side, a dip in pre-valve pressure results in a reduction of diaphragm force, with the spring's natural reaction skillfully guiding the spool to constrict the valve opening, restoring the pressure to its target. Notably, if pre-valve pressure falls below the set benchmark, the valve remains securely closed.
