Figure 1a: Masterfully engineered to fine-tune the post-control valve pressure regulation, this valve operates in a pressure-closed mode. The dynamic operational principle unfolds as follows: The medium elegantly flows into the valve body following the directional arrow, then gracefully exits through the valve seat and spool after precise throttling. In an alternative pathway, the pressure tube (for steam mediums with condensers) channels the medium into the actuator, exerting force on the diaphragm; this causes the spool to adjust its position, achieving seamless pressure reduction and stabilization. Should the valve's downstream pressure rise, the increased force on the diaphragm compresses the spring, guiding the spool to reduce the valve's opening until equilibrium is restored at the set pressure.
