The SNT drain valve shatters conventional internal structural design paradigms. With an innovative approach, the flow channel between the valve core and cylindrical valve seat is artfully crafted with a sleek, smooth design that accelerates fluid dynamics. As the fluid surges past the valve seat to a suddenly expanded chamber, the pressure drop fosters rapid fluid expansion towards the flow's center. Concurrently, the fluid's energy disperses swiftly, transforming into a turbulent state, encouraging steam formation in supersaturated conditions. This process simultaneously cools any remaining liquid, exemplifying the efficient use of flash evaporation in liquid flows.

To cater to the diverse spectrum of device requirements, we expertly manufacture valves within the pressure domains of ANSI 150 to ANSI 2500. The standard stop valve dimensions commence at 3/4" (DN20), 1" (DN25), 1.1/2" (DN40), 2" (DN50), 2-1/2" (DN65), and culminate at 3" (DN80). The quintessential form of an SNT valve is its angular connection, designed for seamless, uniform fluid flow. Alternatively, through-way type stop valves are also on offer. These valves, according to control preferences, are available in manual, pneumatic, and electric variations. For refined throttling control, SNT employs the sophisticated Fluent-Code of computational Fluid Dynamics to simulate and scrutinize flow channels and pressure drops within its internal design structures. As illustrated in the figure to the left, in accordance with ASME B31.1 Power Boilers and Piping standards, intermittent drain valves are typically deployed in Zone 2, being directly installed within the boiler or boiler piping. There are also continuous drain valves, traps, and safety valves, among others.
As per §122.1.4 of ASME B31.1 Power Boilers and Piping, the piping is often equipped with two valves in series: a Y-type intermittent drain valve and an emergency stop valve.

The intermittent drain valve utilizes a lever-type rapid discharge mechanism to facilitate swift opening and closing. Upon activation, the valve swiftly expels sediment, dirt, and particles from the boiler base in under 3 seconds. Prolonged operation can result in excessive boiler water discharge, leading to significant resource wastage. The flow channel aligns closely with the straight pipeline.

The emergency stop valve serves to achieve a stringent pipeline cut-off, preventing resource wastage in the event of an intermittent drain valve malfunction.
