Additionally, there exist continuous drain valves, alongside traps, safety valves, and more, ensuring comprehensive system protection.
Per the detailed specifications of §122.1.4 of ASME B31.1 Power Boilers and Piping, the piping is strategically equipped with dual valves in series: a Y-type intermittent drain valve coupled with an essential emergency stop valve for optimal safety.

The intermittent drain valve boasts a lever-type rapid discharge mechanism, facilitating swift opening and closure with utmost efficiency. Upon activation, the valve adeptly expels sediment, dirt, and particulates from the boiler's base with lightning speed-under 3 seconds. Extended discharge could inadvertently deplete substantial boiler water, leading to resource wastage. The flow channel is ingeniously designed akin to a direct pipeline.

The pivotal emergency stop valve is engineered to ensure a precise cut-off of the pipeline, safeguarding against resource depletion in the event that the preceding intermittent drain valve encounters a malfunction.
