Figure 1a illustrates the innovative mechanism used to control the post-control valve pressure regulator, utilizing a pressure-closed operation mode. The process unfolds as follows: the medium elegantly flows into the valve body following the directional arrow and is precisely throttled by the valve seat and spool, resulting in a smooth output. Simultaneously, the medium, if steam, enriched with a condenser, courses through the pressure tube into the actuator, engaging the diaphragm to induce a corresponding spool displacement. This sophisticated interaction achieves the dual goals of reducing pressure and maintaining stability. Should the pressure beyond the valve rise, the diaphragm's force intensifies, compressing the spring and guiding the spool to carefully reduce the valve opening until the pressure gracefully descends to the pre-set value. Figure 1b showcases the regulator designed to masterfully control the pressure ahead of the valve, operating with a pressure-open mode. The process unfolds as follows: the medium gracefully enters the valve body from the arrow-marked direction and is skillfully throttled by the valve seat and spool for a seamless output. Concurrently, if the medium is steam, enhanced with a condenser, it travels through the pressure tube to the actuator, engaging the diaphragm to induce a precise spool displacement. This intricate process ensures pressure relief and stabilization are achieved. Should the pressure ahead of the valve rise, the diaphragm's force intensifies, compressing the spring and skillfully guiding the spool to enhance the valve opening until the pressure reduces to the set value. In contrast, if the pressure declines, the diaphragm's force weakens, and the spring's reactive force artfully drives the spool to reduce the valve opening until the pressure rises to the desired set value. In instances where the pressure ahead of the valve falls below the set threshold, the valve remains elegantly closed.
