ZZY type self-operating pressure regulating valves boast an innovative design that eliminates the need for external energy sources. These intelligent valves harness the power of the controlled medium itself, ingeniously using it as a driving force. This allows the actuator to deftly maneuver the valve core position, adjusting the flow area with precision. This seamless operation ensures that the flow rate is meticulously controlled, resulting in stable pressure management either before or after the valve.

Operating Principle

In scenarios where downstream pressure control is required (ZZYP-B type), the valve performs dual functions: pressure reduction and stabilization. If the downstream pressure exceeds the desired set value, the valve instinctively closes to mitigate excess pressure, eventually shutting off to prevent overpressure. Conversely, when downstream pressure falls below the set value, the valve remains open to maintain the desired pressure equilibrium.

For controlling upstream pressure (ZZYP-K type), the valve is engineered to provide safety pressure relief and stabilization. Should the upstream pressure surpass the predetermined set value, the valve instinctively opens, reaching a fully open state to release excess pressure safely. When the pressure is below the desired threshold, it remains closed to ensure stability.
