Coupled with this is an array of actuator types designed for varying applications: from the standard diaphragm and reinforced diaphragm to the robust piston and the resilient metal diaphragm (bellows). With its fast-opening flow characteristics, the AOC-3000 ensures sensitive and precise adjustments with an error margin of ≤10%. Compact yet powerful, this valve eclipses traditional heavy hammer pressure-reducing valves with its minimal space requirements and ease of adjustment. Actuator Features
Figure 1a showcases the advanced mechanism used to precisely regulate the pressure of post-control valves, designed with a pressure-closed action type. The operation is elegantly simple: the medium enters the valve body following the directional arrow, experiencing a refined throttling process by the valve seat and spool. Concurrently, via the pressure tube (when involving steam, accompanied by a condenser), the medium channels into the actuator, engaging the diaphragm. This precise interaction results in the spool's strategic displacement, effectively achieving pressure reduction and stabilization. When the downstream pressure escalates, the diaphragm experiences an increased force, compressing the spring, which in turn drives the spool to diminish the valve opening, allowing the pressure to fall back to the predetermined setting. Conversely, should the downstream pressure decline, the force on the diaphragm lessens, and the spring's reactive push prompts the spool to enhance the valve opening until the pressure ascends to the set value.
Figure 1b highlights the adept regulator designed for controlling upstream valve pressure, featuring a pressure open action mode. The operational principle is ingeniously straightforward: the medium enters the valve body, adhering to the arrow's orientation, undergoing throttling via the valve seat and spool. Simultaneously, when the scenario involves steam plus a condenser, it enters the actuator and affects the diaphragm, instigating the spool's strategic movement for optimal pressure relief and stabilization. An increase in upstream pressure amplifies the force on the diaphragm, compressing the spring and prompting the spool to widen the valve opening until the pressure subsides to the established parameter. On the other hand, a reduction in upstream pressure diminishes the force acting on the diaphragm. The spring's reactive force then drives the spool, reducing the valve opening until the pressure reinstates to the set value. For applications involving gas or low viscosity liquid media, the AOC-3111 model of the self-operated pressure regulating valve by SNT Machinery (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. is optimally mounted in an upright position on a horizontal pipeline. However, in situations where space constraints exist, it can be mounted upside down or at a diagonal angle. If you can confirm that the medium is clean, you may choose to omit the installation of part 3, simplifying the setup.
In scenarios where the valve is employed with steam or high viscosity liquid media, the AOC-3111 self-operated pressure regulating valve should typically be installed upside down on a horizontal pipeline.
