The SNT Triple Offset Butterfly Valve is engineered to deliver exceptional performance with its bi-directional, bubble-tight shut-off feature. This sophisticated geometry is designed so that the disc seal precisely interacts with the body seat exclusively at the final shut-off stage. This prevents any rubbing or galling, enabling the valve to generate a resilient seal through torque. The 'wedging' mechanism ensures a consistent and reliable seal contact, offering superior efficiency and sealing capabilities.

The Triple Offset Geometry

Offset 1 - Ingeniously designed, the shaft is positioned behind the seat axis. This ensures comprehensive sealing contact around the entire seat, enhancing the valve's functionality.
Offset 2 - With the shaft centerline strategically offset from both the pipe and valve, this innovative design allows for interference-free opening and closing, making the operational transitions smooth and seamless.
Offset 3 - By offsetting the seat cone axis from the shaft centerline, this design effectively eliminates any friction during the closing and opening phases. This ensures a uniform and compressive seal around the entire seat, optimizing the valve's performance and longevity.
