In recent years, with the advancement of industrial technologies and innovations, the demands for energy conservation and high environmental protection standards policies have steadily increased.Consequently, the utilization of cut-off butterfly valves has expanded significantly. Previously, in existing technologies,thetri-eccentric butterfly valve was known to rely on torque sealing. Here, the valve plate's sealing was reinforced by the actuator's torque. However, in certain challenging environments, such as with high-temperature catalytic flue gases, various gases, or sulfur tail gas, reaching temperatures as high as 800°C, the concern of thermal expansion stress arises. This stress may lead to valve malfunction, potentially resulting in severe issues like tri-eccentric butterfly valve getting stuck, thus negatively impactingindustrial output and productivity,which can lead to massive economic setbacks and even severe safety incidents.

SNT VALVE dedicates itself to ongoing research and development of butterfly valves for high-temperature flue gas applications. To address these challenges, SNT VALVE has innovatively introduced a four-stem eccentric butterfly valve, surpassing the traditional tri-eccentric models. This new operating butterfly valve is now a groundbreaking solution within the industry. It has successfully resolved long-standing issues and has been recognized with two national patents: a four-stem eccentric butterfly valve (Patent No.: ZL201520326489.1) and a catalytic device featuring the four-stem eccentric butterfly valve (Patent No.: ZL201921719624.3). These innovations have been assessed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, who conducted a comprehensive product identification in collaboration with Changzhou University.The results were astonishingly positive, beingrecognized as leading domestically.

Working Principle

Delve into the sophisticated mechanism of the four-link butterfly valve, which is composed of an intricately designed drive device, valve plate, valve body, valve shaft, linkage system, and shaft end seals. The valve's opening and closing sequence is initiated by the drive device, causing the valve shaft and four-link mechanism to engage. During this process, the valve shaft rotates, opening the valve plate until it's aligned parallel with the pipeline center, signifying a fully open state. Conversely, as the valve shaft reverses its motion, the valve plate is drawn to contact and compress against the sealing surface of the valve body, achieving a fully closed state. This meticulous process ensures a secure and efficient operation every time.
