Each option is crafted to suit specific working conditions, such as differential pressure, temperature, medium state, and leakage necessities. Our AOC-3000 valves come equipped with three sophisticated actuator types to suit different process needs: the classic diaphragm (available in normal and reinforced variants), the robust piston, and the innovative metal diaphragm (bellows). Actuator Features

 

Figure 1a: An advanced system tailored for controlling the post-control valve pressure regulator. This remarkable valve operates on a pressure-closed mechanism. Its operational principle is elegantly straightforward: the medium enters the valve body as indicated by the arrow, then passes through the valve seat and spool, undergoing throttling and exiting efficiently. Meanwhile, the pressure tube (and condenser for steam mediums) channels the medium to the actuator, exerting force on the diaphragm. This orchestrates a precise displacement of the spool, achieving seamless pressure reduction and stability. When downstream pressure rises, it amplifies the force on the diaphragm, compressing the spring and modulating the spool to minimize valve opening, restoring pressure to the set threshold. Conversely, a drop in pressure reduces diaphragm force, enabling the spring's reaction to increase valve opening until equilibrium is restored.

 

Figure 1b: Expertly engineered to manage pressure preceding the valve, this regulator boasts a pressure-open mode of operation. The medium gracefully enters the valve body, guided by the arrow, proceeds through the valve seat and spool, and undergoes throttling before seamless exit. Simultaneously, the pressure tube (with steam mediums incorporating a condenser) directs the medium to engage the actuator, pressing on the diaphragm and causing a controlled spool displacement. This facilitates precise pressure relief and stabilization. Should upstream pressure heighten, increased diaphragm tension compresses the spring, enlarging the valve's opening to alleviate pressure back to the set level. Conversely, a decline in upstream pressure decreases diaphragm force, the spring's reaction prompting a reduction in valve opening to maintain the desired pressure level. Should upstream pressure fall below the threshold, the valve remains closed to safeguard stability.

Mounting Method

 

For optimal performance in gas or low viscosity liquid media, the AOC-3111 self-operated pressure regulating valve is customarily mounted upright on a horizontal pipe. This ideal setup ensures seamless operation and maximum efficiency. However, when spatial constraints arise, the valve may be positioned either upside down or diagonally. If the medium is confirmed to be clean, part 3 can be omitted, contributing to a more streamlined installation.

 

When dealing with steam or high viscosity liquid media, the AOC-3111 self-operated pressure regulating valve demonstrates its versatility by being predominantly installed upside down on a horizontal pipe. This configuration is tailored to meet the demands of more challenging media, ensuring robust performance and reliability in diverse industrial applications.
