Figure 1a is expertly designed to regulate and maintain post-control valve pressure with a pressure-closed mechanism. Here's how it works: the medium journeys into the valve body, directed by the arrow, and after passing through the valve seat and spool, it undergoes precise throttling. Concurrently, a pressure tube (used with steam plus a condenser) channels the medium into the actuator, advancing to the diaphragm. This sets off a nuanced movement of the spool, achieving seamless pressure reduction and stabilization. Should the pressure past the valve rise, the diaphragm experiences increased force, compressing the spring and propelling the spool to adjust the valve opening, restoring the pressure to its intended setting. Figure 1b presents a masterful regulator that governs the pressure preceding the valve, featuring a pressure-open mechanism. The operation unfolds as follows: the medium navigates into the valve body, as indicated by the arrow, proceeding through the valve seat and spool for expert throttling. Meanwhile, the medium, accompanied by steam and a condenser, channels into the actuator's diaphragm via a pressure tube, prompting precise spool displacement for pressure relief and stabilization. When the pre-valve pressure surges, the diaphragm's force intensifies, compressing the spring and expanding the valve opening until the pressure aligns with the set standard. Conversely, a drop in pre-valve pressure lessens diaphragm force, allowing the spring's resilience to drive the spool and constrict the valve opening, reestablishing the pressure to its set benchmark. Should the pre-valve pressure fall below the set threshold, the valve remains firmly closed, ensuring unmatched performance and reliability.

This standard setup can be adjusted to an upside-down or diagonal installation only if spatial constraints exist. Should the medium be verified as clean, installation of part 3 can be omitted.
