The distinguished 1-X400 series linear stroke piston-type pneumatic actuators masterfully incorporate cold-drawn hydraulic pipes as their cylinder bodies, crafted through precision honing and extrusion processes. These methods meticulously reduce the wear and tear on dynamic sealing elements, substantially boosting the actuator's durability. When compared to membrane-type linear stroke actuators of equivalent specifications, the 1-X400 series delivers significantly greater thrust. Their design is a harmonious blend of simplicity, lightweight characteristics, and compact size, making them an epitome of high-performance pneumatic linear stroke actuators.
Remarkably versatile, the 1-X400 series linear stroke piston-type pneumatic actuators are crafted in both double-acting and single-acting configurations. When integrated with linear stroke valves, they masterfully perform regulation or on-off control functions. Enhanced with accessories such as pneumatic control valves, quick exhaust valves, and pneumatic actuators, these systems are capable of achieving rapid cutoffs, offering impressive cutoff times of 1S, 2S, 3S, and 4S, alongside other remarkable levels.
DESIGN DETAILS
PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE RATING
Our actuators are expertly crafted for optimal performance and safety. Operable at a rated supply pressure of 8 bar, they ensure the reliability of the piston's sliding seals. Each actuator undergoes rigorous hydrostatic testing at 10.5 bar to guarantee durability. For seamless continuous service at 8 bar, please refer to the table of materials for detailed temperature limits.
ACTUATOR BODY
The cylinder is meticulously crafted from a precision steel tube, ensuring flawless operation.
Its inner surface boasts a polished, chromium-plated and lapped finish, enhancing performance.
Two robust heads, available in aluminum or steel cast, offer diverse assembly options to perfectly align with various valve requirements, accommodating different assembly needs.
These heads feature adaptable designs for use with a fork for pivoting assemblies, ideal for actuating butterfly valves.
Additionally, they are engineered with a flange for secure mounting on valve yokes, making them perfect for actuating globe or angle valves with unwavering stability.
PISTON
The piston, crafted from high-strength steel, is equipped with sealing rings-one for single-acting (S.A.) and two for double-acting (D.A.) applications-and guiding skids, ensuring smooth, efficient motion.
STEM
Our actuator stem, precision-engineered from stainless steel, is ground, rolled, and threaded for superior durability. Securely linking the actuator and valve stems, it features a robust two-piece block that clamps onto the threaded ends.
The stem is meticulously guided by a double bronze bushing housed in the lower head, which also includes a felt ring for effective stem cleaning, alongside a sealing ring (excluding S.A. direct-acting actuators) to prevent any leakage, maintaining the integrity of the system.
