In cases where spatial constraints exist, it can be installed either upside down or at an angle, ensuring flexibility in deployment. (Installation of part 3 is optional if the medium is verified as clean)

 

In scenarios where the valve operates with steam or high-viscosity liquid media, the AOC-3111 type self-operated pressure regulating valve should be ideally installed upside down on a horizontal pipe to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Actuator Features

 

Figure 1a: This sophisticated pressure regulator is designed to precisely control the post-control valve pressure, operating as a pressure-closed type. Here's how it works: the medium enters the valve body following the arrow's direction and, after throttling, is released through the valve seat and spool. Simultaneously, it travels through the pressure tube (with steam plus condenser) to engage the diaphragm in the actuator. This interaction results in the spool's displacement, achieving seamless pressure reduction and stabilization. Should the pressure post-valve increase, the diaphragm experiences more force, compressing the spring and urging the spool to reduce the valve opening, thereby lowering pressure to its set value. Conversely, when the post-valve pressure drops, the diaphragm's force diminishes, allowing the spring's reaction force to expand the valve opening until equilibrium is reached at the designated pressure.

When the pre-valve pressure escalates, the diaphragm's force is amplified, compressing the spring and driving the spool to expand the valve opening until pre-valve pressure descends to the set level. Conversely, if pre-valve pressure falls, the diaphragm force wanes, and the spring's reaction force acts to close the valve incrementally, ensuring stability until pressure is restored to the desired set value. When pre-valve pressure is below the set threshold, the valve remains securely closed.
