Here's how it functions: The medium travels into the valve body following the direction of the arrow, then undergoes meticulous throttling before being discharged via the valve seat and spool. In another pathway, the medium, when combined with steam and a condenser, is channeled through the pressure tube into the actuator, exerting its influence on the diaphragm. This interaction prompts the spool to shift correspondingly, elegantly achieving pressure reduction and stabilization. If the post-valve pressure escalates, the diaphragm exerts more force, compressing the spring and guiding the spool to narrow the valve opening, restoring the pressure to its intended setting. This interaction causes a precise displacement of the spool, thus facilitating controlled pressure relief and stabilization. When the pre-valve pressure intensifies, the diaphragm's force increases, compressing the spring and prompting the spool to widen the valve opening, ensuring the pressure returns to its preset level. Alternatively, if the pressure decreases, the reduced force on the diaphragm and the spring's reactive force collaboratively drive the spool, narrowing the valve opening until the pressure reinstates to its target.
