The pioneering SNT drain valve redefines the conventional internal structure design. It features a streamlined flow channel between the valve core and cylindrical seat, accelerating fluid dynamics until it reaches downstream, where the chamber enlarges. This design induces a significant pressure drop that facilitates rapid fluid expansion, leading to energy dispersion and evaporation, creating turbulence. The efficient flow discharge ensures steam formation in supersaturated conditions while thermally managing residual liquids through flash evaporation.

To cater to diverse operational requirements, SNT offers an impressive range of valves in the ANSI pressure spectrum from 150 to ANSI 2500. The standard stop valve sizes available are 3/4" (DN20), 1" (DN25), 1.1/2" (DN40), 2" (DN50), 2-1/2" (DN65), and 3" (DN80). SNT valves predominantly feature an angular connection to facilitate seamless fluid dynamics. The through way type stop valves are versatile in control options, including manual, pneumatic, and electric modes. For precision throttling, we utilize computational Fluid Dynamics with Fluent-Code to simulate and analyze flow channels and pressure differentials. Our internals are fortified with high-quality Co-Ni alloy surface treatments or Cr-N ceramic coatings to resist abrasion and corrosion under extreme pressure and flow conditions.

As shown in the figure on the left, according to ASME B31.1 Power Boilers and Piping, intermittent drain valves are usually used in Zone 2 and are installed directly in boiler or boiler piping. There are also continuous drain valves, traps, and safety valves, etc. Elegantly engineered for precision and safety in demanding environments.
According to §122.1.4 of ASME B31.1 Power Boilers and Piping, the piping is usually fitted with 2 valves in series, a Y-type intermittent drain valve and an emergency stop valve. A dual-valve system ensures enhanced safety and operational efficiency.

The intermittent drain valve usually adopts the lever type rapid discharge mechanism, which can realize the rapid opening and closing. Designed for swift and efficient discharge of impurities. When the valve is opened, the sediment, dirt and other particles at the bottom of the boiler can be discharged quickly, no more than 3S. If the time is too long, a large amount of boiler water will be discharged, resulting in a great waste of resources. The flow channel is close to the straight pipeline. Precision-engineered for optimal resource conservation and efficiency.

The emergency stop valve is used to realize the strict cut-off of the pipeline and prevent the waste of resources when the previous intermittent drain valve fails. Ensuring absolute reliability and control within critical systems.
