However, in certain specialized environments (such as high-temperature catalytic flue gas, gaseous, sulfur tail gas, and other media, where temperatures soar to 800°C), due to thermal expansion stress, the valve might fail to open, leading to severe consequences including the tri-eccentric butterfly valve becoming stuck, thereby impactingindustrial operations ,causing substantial economic losses, and even posing safety risks. SNT

Working Principle

The ingenious design of the four-link butterfly valve comprises several key components: a drive device, valve plate, valve body, valve shaft, linkage system, and shaft end seals. The operation of the valve is driven by the drive device, which propels the valve shaft and coordinates with the four-link mechanism. As the valve shaft rotates, the valve plate opens; when aligned parallel to the pipeline center, the valve is fully open, allowing seamless flow. In contrast, the reverse rotation of the valve shaft closes the valve plate, and upon contact and compression against the valve body's sealing surface, the valve achieves complete closure.
