Working Principle

This remarkable four-link butterfly valve is comprised of essential components including a drive device, valve plate, valve body, valve shaft, linkage system, and shaft end seals. The operation of the valve is seamless and efficient; the drive device initiates the movement, propelling the valve shaft and the sophisticated four-link mechanism. As the valve shaft rotates, the valve plate opens, aligning parallel with the pipeline center for a fully open position. Conversely, rotating the valve shaft in the opposite direction closes the valve plate. When the plate makes contact and compresses the valve body's sealing surface, the valve achieves a fully closed state, ensuring a tight and reliable seal that is critical for optimal performance in demanding industrial settings.
