Actuator Features

 

Figure 1a showcases the cutting-edge mechanism of our Precision Self-Operated Pressure Regulator, designed specifically for controlling the post-control valve pressure. This advanced device operates with a pressure-closed configuration. Here's how it works: the medium flows seamlessly into the valve body, following the direction of the arrow. Upon reaching the valve seat and spool, it undergoes precise throttling. Concurrently, a pressure tube (when dealing with steam, coupled with a condenser) channels the medium into the actuator, where it impacts the diaphragm. This interaction prompts a corresponding spool movement, expertly achieving pressure reduction and stabilization. Should the post-valve pressure climb, the diaphragm encounters increased force, compressing the spring and adjusting the spool to minimize valve opening until equilibrium is restored at the set pressure. Conversely, a decrease in pressure results in diminished diaphragm force, allowing the spring's response to drive the spool, enhancing valve opening until the desired pressure is achieved.

 

Figure 1b illustrates the sophisticated operation of our regulator, meticulously engineered for pre-valve pressure control. This regulator embraces a pressure-open configuration. The working principle is as follows: the medium dexterously enters the valve body, guided by the arrow's path, before being expertly throttled by the valve seat and spool. Additionally, the medium passes through a pressure tube (especially when combined with steam and a condenser) to engage the actuator, impinging on the diaphragm. This prompts the spool to shift, skillfully achieving pressure relief and stabilization. When pre-valve pressure surges, the diaphragm experiences heightened force, compressing the spring and compelling the spool to expand the valve opening until the pressure recedes to the pre-set level. Conversely, a drop in pre-valve pressure reduces diaphragm force, enabling the spring's counteraction to drive the spool and constrict the valve opening until a balanced state is achieved. If pre-valve pressure falls below the designated threshold, the valve remains securely closed.
