DESIGN DETAILS
PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE RATING
Our cutting-edge Compact Pneumatic Piston Actuator is designed to withstand up to 8 bar, which marks the rated supply pressure and also defines the integrity threshold for the sliding seals of the piston. Every actuator undergoes a rigorous hydrostatic test at an impressive 10.5 bar prior to leaving our facility. The temperature limits for continuous service at 8 bar are meticulously detailed in our comprehensive material table.
ACTUATOR BODY
Crafted from a precision steel tube, the cylinder ensures impeccable performance.
The interior is exquisitely lapped, chromium-plated, and polished to perfection.
The robust heads are available in either aluminum or steel cast and come in diverse configurations to seamlessly integrate with various valve assemblies or operations.
Options include a fork on the top or bottom head designed for pivoting assemblies, ideal for actuating butterfly valves.
Additionally, a flange option is available, engineered for firm assembly on valve yokes, perfectly suited for actuating globe or angle valves.
PISTON
High-strength steel pistons are equipped with either one (S.A.) or two (D.A.) resilient rubber sealing rings, complemented by two (S.A.) or one (D.A.) loaded-teflon guiding skid, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.
STEM
The stem is precision-engineered from stainless steel, meticulously ground, rolled, and threaded on the exposed end. It connects seamlessly to the valve stem via a dual-piece, expertly bored and threaded block, securely fastening the stems together.
Guided by a dual bronze bushing in the lower head, the stem features an integrated felt ring for wiping, along with a sealing ring (excluding S.A. direct-acting actuators), preventing leakage with utmost efficiency.
