However, in some special occasions (such as high temperature catalytic flue gas, gas, sulfur tail gas and other media, the temperature reaches 800°C), due to the existence of thermal expansion stress, the valve will not be able to open, easy to cause serious consequences such as tri-eccentric butterfly valve stuck, affecting industrial production, causing huge economic losses, and even cause safety accidents.

For the above problems, SNT VALVE proposed to use four-stem eccentric butterfly valve instead of tri-eccentric butterfly valve and aeration butterfly valve as a solution in the industry for the first time, successfully solved the problem for many years, applied for two national patents: a four-stem eccentric butterfly valve (patent No.: ZL201520326489.1 and catalytic device with four-stem eccentric butterfly valve (patent No.: ZL201921719624.3), and commissioned China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation wot conduct product identification with Changzhou University, which was awarded as the domestic leader.

The AOC-4000 series four-link eccentric butterfly valve, designed by SNT, is widely used as a special condition regulating and shut-off valve.
Introducing the AOC-4000 series, a pinnacle of engineering in four-link eccentric butterfly valves, crafted to excel in environments demanding high-temperature resilience, large diameter capacity, and high-flow efficiency. Perfect for applications where low-pressure drop and superior sealing are essential, this valve is your best ally against leaks, boasting either low-leakage or zero-leakage performance. Designed with an impeccable planar sealing ability, it effectively eliminates valve jamming even under intense heat conditions. The AOC-4000 series four-link eccentric butterfly valve comes primarily with a cylinder-type single-acting actuator, providing robust and reliable operation. However, for tailored adaptations to specific operational demands, options include cylinder-type double-acting actuators, electric actuators, and hydraulic actuators. These diverse choices ensure that the valve meets a variety of functional needs, with an impressive minimum shut-off time as swift as 2 to 6 seconds, delivering efficiency and responsiveness in any situation.

Working Principle

The operation of the four-link butterfly valve is an intricate dance of precision and engineering, comprising a sophisticated interplay of components such as the drive device, valve plate, valve body, valve shaft, linkage system, and shaft end seals. The drive device powers the motion, propelling the valve shaft and engaging the four-link mechanism. This orchestrated movement rotates the valve shaft, opening the valve plate. When the valve plate achieves alignment parallel to the pipeline center, the valve is fully open, facilitating unobstructed flow. Conversely, the valve plate's reverse rotation results in closure, as it makes contact and applies pressure to the sealing surface of the valve body, achieving a complete seal and ensuring the valve is fully closed. This engineered precision guarantees optimal performance and reliability.
