Figure 1a: This sophisticated control mechanism is designed to regulate the post-control valve pressure regulator with a pressure-closed action mode. Here's how it functions: As the medium journeys into the valve body, following the arrow's direction, it navigates through throttling to be released by the valve seat and spool. Additionally, it channels through the pressure tube (incorporating a condenser when the medium is steam) into the actuator, energizing the diaphragm. This results in precise spool displacement, facilitating pressure reduction and stabilization. When the downstream pressure escalates, the diaphragm's force intensifies, compressing the spring and commanding the spool, thereby shrinking the valve opening until the pressure lowers to the desired benchmark. Conversely, if the downstream pressure drops, the diaphragm's force diminishes.
