Actuator Features

 

Figure 1a: Discover the marvel of modern engineering with our pressure-closed type post-control valve pressure regulator. This ingenious mechanism orchestrates a symphony of pressure control with unparalleled precision. The working principle is elegantly simple yet incredibly effective: as the medium gracefully flows into the valve body in the direction of the arrow, it is smoothly outputted by the valve seat and spool after a precise throttling process. An alternate path, via the pressure tube (incorporating a condenser when dealing with steam), channels the medium into the actuator, where it prompts the diaphragm to work its magic. This action results in the spool executing a calculated displacement, thus achieving the twin goals of pressure reduction and stabilization. In scenarios where the pressure post-valve surges, the diaphragm's force escalates, compressing the spring, which in turn propels the spool to deftly narrow the valve's opening, maintaining a harmonious pressure equilibrium at the set value. Conversely, should the pressure decline, the diaphragm's influence wanes, allowing the spring's reactionary force to expand the valve opening until the desired pressure is restored.

A rise in pre-valve pressure triggers an increase in diaphragm force, compressing the spring, which ingeniously drives the spool to widen the valve's opening, thereby reducing the pressure to the predetermined set value. Conversely, a fall in pre-valve pressure diminishes diaphragm force, and the spring's counteractive force modulates the spool's movement, narrowing the valve's opening until the pressure ascends to the set value.
