The innovative SNT drain valve redefines conventional internal structure designs. Its sleek flow channel design between the valve core and cylindrical valve seat accelerates fluid flow efficiently. As fluid reaches the downstream valve seat, it enters an expanded chamber where a pressure drop occurs, prompting rapid fluid expansion towards the flow center. This process swiftly dissipates and evaporates fluid energy, inducing a turbulent state. This effective discharge ensures the formation of steam under supersaturation, simultaneously cooling any remaining liquid-a signature method of harnessing flash evaporation within liquid flows.

To accommodate diverse operational requirements, we manufacture valves across the ANSI pressure range 150 to ANSI 2500. Our standard stop valve sizes include 3/4" (DN20), 1" (DN25), 1.1/2" (DN40), 2" (DN50), 2-1/2" (DN65) and 3" (DN80). The SNT valves' standard configuration features an angular connection for optimal fluid flow uniformity. We also offer through-way type stop valves, available in manual, pneumatic, and electric control models to suit precise throttling needs. We leverage our advanced SNT internal-design structure with computational Fluid Dynamics simulations using Fluent-Code for accurate flow and pressure drop analysis. To enhance longevity, all SNT internal components are surface-hardened with premium Co-Ni-based alloys or treated with Cr-N ceramic coatings, ensuring resilience against abrasion and corrosion from high-pressure drops and flow rates.

As depicted in the figure on the left, in accordance with ASME B31.1 Power Boilers and Piping standards, intermittent drain valves are commonly employed in Zone 2 settings and are strategically installed directly in the boiler or along its piping. Additionally, continuous drain valves, traps, safety valves, and other components are used.
According to §122.1.4 of ASME B31.1 Power Boilers and Piping, the piping is typically fitted with a pair of valves in sequence: a Y-type intermittent drain valve and an emergency stop valve.

The intermittent drain valve is engineered with a lever-type rapid discharge mechanism, facilitating the swift opening and closing of the valve. When the valve is actuated, sediment, debris, and other particulates at the boiler's base are expelled swiftly, within a mere 3 seconds, preventing significant water loss and optimizing resource efficiency by maintaining a nearly linear flow channel.

The emergency stop valve is crucial for effectuating a precise pipeline shut-off, averting unnecessary resource depletion in the event of an intermittent drain valve malfunction.
