Conversely, while double-action (D.A.) actuators provide robust solutions, they tend to offer lower net thrusts compared to their single-action counterparts. However, their dimensions increase proportionally with the rise in supplied air pressure and the required stroke, making them adaptable to varying demands.

Double-action actuators featuring a return spring introduce a balanced approach: the full air pressure thrust on one side of the piston is partially counterbalanced by a compressed spring and partially by air pressure on the opposite side of the piston. PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE RATING
Engineered for robust performance, this exceptional actuator boasts an 8-bar supply pressure as its standard for both the cylinder's rated capacity and the sliding seals' integrity. However, exceeding expectations, each actuator undergoes rigorous hydrostatic testing at an impressive 10.5 bar prior to dispatch. For continuous, reliable service at the 8-bar level, temperature parameters are meticulously detailed in the accompanying materials table.

ACTUATOR BODY
Crafted with precision, the cylinder is derived from a meticulously worked steel tube, showcasing unparalleled precision.
The interior is a marvel of engineering, with surfaces lapped to perfection, chromium-plated, and polished to a flawless finish.
The dual heads are cast from robust aluminium or steel, designed in varied shapes to seamlessly align with valve assembly requirements or operations.

With the addition of a fork for the upper or lower head, pivoting assemblies are effortlessly achieved, ideal for tasks such as actuating butterfly valves.
A flange design ensures rigid assembly on valve yokes, perfect for actuating globe or angle valves with precision and strength.

PISTON
This dynamic piston is crafted from high-strength steel and is equipped with either one (S.A.) or two (D.A.) rubber sealing rings. It also features two (S.A.) or one (D.A.) loaded-teflon guiding skid, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

STEM
The stem is artistically machined from a resilient stainless steel rod, precisely ground, rolled, and threaded at its exterior. The actuator stem seamlessly unites with the valve stem through a dual-piece block, designed to clamp the matched threaded ends.
Expertly guided by a dual bronze bushing inserted in the lower head, the stem is enhanced with a felt ring to maintain cleanliness and a sealing ring (excluding S.A. direct-acting actuators), effectively preventing leakage for enhanced efficiency.
