ZZY type self-operating pressure regulating valves are ingeniously designed to function without the need for external energy sources. They harness the innate energy of the controlled medium itself, which acts as a power source. This smart mechanism involves an actuator that deftly manipulates the valve core's position, effectively altering the flow area. As a result, the flow rate is meticulously adjusted, ensuring the pressure is stabilized either before or after the valve, as required.
These valves boast a highly sensitive operation, ensuring excellent sealing and minimal pressure fluctuation. Their versatility and reliability make them indispensable in automatic control systems for pressure reduction and stabilization, or pressure relief and stabilization of gas, liquid, and steam. Operating Principle
In applications where downstream pressure control is paramount (ZZYP-B type), these valves perform dual roles of pressure reduction and stabilization. Should the downstream pressure surpass the predetermined set value, the valve instinctively begins to close, ultimately shutting off if necessary. Conversely, if the pressure is lower than the set value, the valve maintains an open state, thereby compensating and stabilizing the pressure effectively.
When tasked with controlling upstream pressure (ZZYP-K type), these valves excel in providing safety pressure relief and stabilization. If the upstream pressure exceeds the set threshold, the valve automatically opens, fully engaging to relieve pressure. On the other hand, if the upstream pressure is below the desired set value, the valve remains closed, ensuring safety and stability in the system.
