The multi-stage pressure-reducing labyrinth control valve features a sophisticated core throttling mechanism made of multiple stacked metal discs with intricate labyrinth grooves. As the fluid navigates these channels, it experiences numerous collisions and turns, effectively dissipating energy to control flow rate and systematically reduce pressure. It excels in high-temperature, high-pressure drop scenarios, ideal for nuclear and power plant applications. While predominantly used with superheated steam, it is also adept for liquid mediums.
