Actuator Features

 

Versatile Self-Operated Pressure Regulator Featuring CF3m and A351 CF8

Figure 1a showcases an ingenious mechanism designed to precisely control the post-control valve pressure regulator, operating with a pressure-closed action mode. The action unfolds as follows: the medium gracefully enters the valve body, following the arrow's guidance, and is elegantly outputted through the valve seat and spool post-throttling. Additionally, another pathway, facilitated by a pressure tube (which includes a condenser when dealing with steam), introduces the medium into the actuator, allowing it to interact with the diaphragm. This interaction results in a corresponding displacement of the spool, effectively achieving pressure reduction and stabilization. In scenarios where the pressure after the valve increases, the force exerted on the diaphragm intensifies, compressing the spring and driving the spool to reduce the valve opening until the pressure is elegantly balanced back to the set value. Conversely, when the pressure diminishes behind the valve, the diaphragm force decreases, and the spring's reaction force prompts the spool to expand the valve opening until the pressure harmoniously matches the predetermined level.Versatile Self-Operated Pressure Regulator Featuring CF3m and A351 CF8
 



Figure 1b illustrates a sophisticated regulator crafted to masterfully control the pressure preceding the valve, operating with a pressure open type mode. The medium gracefully enters the valve body, guided by the arrow, and is splendidly outputted through the valve seat and spool post-throttling. An alternative path provided by the pressure tube (including a condenser for steam) channels the medium into the actuator to affect the diaphragm, inducing a related spool displacement, thus achieving pressure relief and stabilization. Should the pressure intensify in front of the valve, the force on the diaphragm correspondingly increases, compressing the spring and driving the spool to widen the valve opening until the pressure effortlessly returns to the set value. Similarly, when the pressure ahead of the valve decreases, the diaphragm's force lessens, and the spring's reactive force induces the spool to reduce the valve opening, ensuring the pressure elevates back to the desired set point. If the pressure in front of the valve falls below the set threshold, the valve remains steadfastly closed.
