The ingenious multi-stage pressure-reducing labyrinth control valve features a core throttling component made of multiple stacked metal discs etched with labyrinth grooves. As the fluid navigates through these intricate channels, it experiences numerous collisions and directional changes, effectively dissipating energy. This mechanism delicately manages flow rates while gradually lowering pressure. This valve is predominantly utilized in specialized high-temperature, high-pressure drop scenarios, such as those found in nuclear and power plants.
