However, in specific challenging scenarios (such as those involving high-temperature catalytic flue gases, various gases, and sulfur tail gases, where temperatures may soar up to 800°C), thermal expansion stresses may emerge, causing the valve to jam and potentially lead to catastrophic outcomes like tri-eccentric butterfly valve malfunction, thereby negativelyimpact industrial production processes,resulting in extensive economic losses, and posing significant safety hazards.

Working Principle

The engineering marvel of the four-link butterfly valve lies in its sophisticated assembly comprising a drive device, valve plate, valve body, valve shaft, linkage system, and shaft end seals. The seamless opening and closing operations are powered by the drive device, which skillfully actuates the valve shaft and the intricate four-link mechanism. By rotating the valve shaft, the valve plate transitions to an open state when aligned parallel to the pipeline center, achieving full openness. Conversely, the reverse shaft rotation initiates the closure of the valve plate, culminating in a completely sealed state when the valve plate makes contact and applies compression to the valve body's sealing surface, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and reliability.
