The sophisticated pressure tube (enhanced with a condenser for steam mediums) channels the medium into the actuator, engaging the diaphragm and prompting precise spool displacement. This orchestrated movement beautifully achieves pressure reduction and stabilization. Should the pressure rise post-valve, the diaphragm feels an intensified force, compressing the spring and guiding the spool to diminish the valve opening, restoring the pressure to the desired setting. Conversely, with a pressure drop, the diaphragm's force wanes, allowing the spring's reaction to elegantly expand the valve opening, thereby recalibrating the pressure to its pre-set level.

In applications involving steam or high viscosity liquid media, achieving optimal functionality requires the AOC-3111 type self-operated pressure regulating valve to be strategically installed upside down on a horizontal pipe.
