Here's how it works: The medium gracefully flows into the valve body along the arrow's direction and is skillfully outputted through the valve seat and spool after throttling. Meanwhile, via the pressure tube (add a condenser if the medium is steam), the medium enters the actuator, acting on the diaphragm, which in turn causes the spool to make the necessary displacement, achieving seamless pressure reduction and stabilization. If post-valve pressure rises, the diaphragm's force increases, compressing the spring and maneuvering the spool to decrease the valve's opening until the pressure recedes to its ideal set value.
